After our proprietary cold-process fermentation, the whole beans are broken into small pieces called nibs, which are the basis for the various forms of cacao products such as powder, paste and butter. The result is a deliciously textured nib with a dark chocolate aroma, hints of citrus and smooth finish. Available in 8 oz. and 16 oz. sizes. Cacao nibs are full of antioxidants, carbohydrates, protein, polyphenols and oleic acid, a heart-healthy essential monounsaturated fat. Raw cacao nibs also contain:
